Skill : Extended Warehouse Management Integration

An experienced SAP S/4HANA Lead Consultant Logistics / EWM is sought to take over the functional and conceptual leadership of the logistics workstream in the ongoing transformation project.

The focus is on SAP EWM and the end-to-end integration of warehouse and logistics processes with procurement, production, sales, and shipping.

Extensive EWM experience, integration understanding, experience in complex S/4HANA projects, and the ability to take over and functionally lead an existing workstream at short notice are expected.

Experience in mechanical/plant engineering or in complex MTO/ETO manufacturing environments is an advantage.

The business model includes, among other things, heavy-duty transport solutions for road and off-road as well as solutions for internal transport.

The relevant end-to-end processes include, among others, Make-to-Order, Engineer-to-Order, Make-to-Stock/Pick-to-Order, trade processing, and various service processes.

• Several years of project experience as an SAP EWM Consultant, ideally already as a Lead Consultant or Stream Lead
• Very good knowledge of SAP EWM in the S/4HANA environment
• Sound understanding of end-to-end logistics processes and their integration into adjacent SAP areas
• Experience in the conception and implementation of:
• Goods receipt processes
• Putaway and internal warehouse logistics
• Material supply to production
• Picking
• Goods issue and shipping
• Stock management and inventory
• Internal warehouse movements
• Very good understanding of the integration of EWM with S/4HANA, especially with procurement, production, and sales
• Ability to capture, structure functional requirements, and translate them into a viable SAP Solution Design
• Experience with Fit-to-Standard/process workshops and the evaluation of standard vs. customer-specific requirements
• Experience in managing or coordinating consultants and adjacent streams
• Ability to identify integration dependencies early and resolve them together with other workstreams
• Experience with Cloud ALM
• Experience with automatic warehouse connection (relevant for next year as advance planning for 2028)
