Project overview

For our client, consulting is sought as part of an SAP transformation project for the migration of personnel data from non-SAP systems into an SAP HCM/H4S4 landscape. The subject of the assignment is the independent provision of consulting and migration services in the SAP HCM environment.

• Conception, planning, and execution of the migration of personnel data from non-SAP systems into SAP HCM or H4S4
• Analysis of existing data stocks and definition of necessary data cleansing and preparation measures
• Creation and coordination of data mapping and transformation rules
• Execution and support of migrations in the SAP HCM modules:
• Personnel Administration (PA)
• Organizational Management (OM)
• Payroll (PY)
• Time Management (PT)
• Development of suitable migration procedures using:
• SAP LSMW
• SAP Migration Cockpit
• ETL tools
• Customer-specific ABAP solutions (if necessary)
• Creation and updating of a holistic migration concept
• Definition of migration objects, mapping rules, dependencies, and quality assurance measures
• Planning and execution of test migrations
• Analysis and correction of data and migration errors
• Ensuring data quality, completeness, and consistency
• Creation and coordination of cutover and go-live concepts
• Functional and technical support of the cutover and go-live phases
• Documentation of migration processes, solution approaches, and results
• Ensuring data protection compliant handling of sensitive personnel data

Requirements

Advantageous

• Several years of experience in SAP HCM migration projects
• Profound knowledge in:
• SAP HCM General Knowledge
• Technical SAP Migration
• SAP Migration Cockpit
• SAP Legacy System Migration Workbench (LSMW)
• ABAP/4
• Experience in developing technical concepts and migration strategies
• Very good German language skills
• Experience in the SAP HCM Public Sector environment
• Knowledge of common ETL tools
