SAP LE/SD Consultant – Shipping and Warehouse Processes

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP consultant for the design and implementation of an integrated shipping and warehouse process in SAP S/4HANA. The project includes the design of lean warehouse organization processes and the optimization of the entire shipping flow from finished product to invoicing.

Responsibilities

You will design and customize the delivery-based shipping process, including staging, packing, and goods issue. You will design an efficient warehouse organization based on MM-IM and storage locations and define processes for goods receipt, inventory management, stock transfers, and inventory counts. A focus will be on the design of batch management and end-to-end traceability, as well as role identification and label printing. You will evaluate options for scanner or tablet support and coordinate the processes closely with the production, sales, and invoicing departments.

Finally, you will create documentation and support testing and go-live.

Requirements

You have several years of project experience in SAP S/4HANA LE and SD Shipping. You have very good knowledge of delivery, picking, packing, goods issue, and shipping documents, as well as good knowledge of inventory management in MM-IM. Experience with batches, batch determination, and traceability is required. You are familiar with Handling Unit Management and label printing and understand the integration of LE with SD, MM, and PP. You work according to the principle of SAP standard before customer-specific development and can structure open requirements and make pragmatic decisions with business departments.
