SAP Migration to Azure Databricks – Analysis and Implementation

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP specialist for a comprehensive migration project. You will be responsible for the analysis and implementation planning of a complex SAP landscape, transferring it from an established on-premise infrastructure to a modern cloud platform.

Your tasks include the detailed analysis of existing SAP systems, especially data flows and business logic. You will conduct use-case analyses, create technical specifications, and plan the step-by-step implementation with realistic effort estimations. You will configure data replication solutions, model data structures on the target platform, and implement complex transformation logic.

Another focus is on quality assurance: you will develop comprehensive test strategies, conduct tests across all stages, and systematically analyze errors. You will support deployments in various environments and assist with acceptance by the client.

At the end of the project, you will conduct knowledge transfer and provide early-life support.

You bring several years of experience in SAP programming (ABAP), a deep understanding of SAP data structures and data flows. You are familiar with data replication solutions and have practical experience with modern cloud data platforms. Your skills in SQL optimization and performance analysis are highly developed. You work agilely, communicate clearly, and can convey complex technical content understandably.

The project runs for at least one year and offers the chance to actively shape a significant digital transformation.
