SAP Project Manager – Logistics & Warehouse Harmonization (Pharma Industry) (m/f/d) from immediate effect – 4+ Months (Remote)

For our end client from the manufacturing industry (pharmaceutical sector), we are looking for an experienced SAP Project Manager (m/f/d) for freelance support in harmonizing and consolidating logistics and warehouse processes at two locations.

As part of an SAP transformation, existing processes, master data, and reporting structures at two warehouse locations with different SAP system landscapes (SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA) are to be unified. You will be responsible for overall project coordination, managing the involved business departments and IT teams, and ensuring smooth implementation during ongoing operations.

Responsibilities

• Independent management and coordination of an SAP harmonization project in the logistics and warehouse environment
• Planning and monitoring of project milestones, resources, risks, dependencies, and project progress
• Coordination of process harmonization between existing SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA system landscapes
• Analysis and unification of warehouse, inventory management, and logistics processes
• Management of consolidation and harmonization of material master data, warehouse master data, inventory data, and batch information
• Ensuring uniform reporting structures and logistics KPIs
• Coordination between logistics, production, purchasing, supply chain management, and SAP IT
• Coordination of integration and testing activities as well as cutover planning and go-live preparation
• Management of change management, including key user coordination, training, and communication
• Regular project reporting as well as stakeholder, escalation, and decision management

• At least 10 years of experience in SAP project management, ideally with a focus on logistics, warehouse management, or supply chain
• Demonstrable experience in leading international SAP transformation, harmonization, or consolidation projects
• Profound knowledge of SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA, as well as experience with heterogeneous SAP system landscapes
• Very good process knowledge in SAP MM as well as SAP WM and/or SAP EWM
• Experience in harmonizing warehouse processes, inventory management, and master data management
• Profound knowledge of SAP project management, including governance, risk, dependency, and stakeholder management
• Experience in coordinating interdisciplinary and internationally distributed project teams
• Knowledge in planning and managing SAP integrations, test phases, cutover, and go-live
• Ideally, project experience in the manufacturing industry, pharmaceutical industry, life sciences, or other regulated industries
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as GxP or GDP is an advantage
• Strong communication skills and experience in collaborating with program management, business departments, and IT teams
