SAP S/4 FI Expert

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4 FI Expert for a full-time project in a remote format. The position is available from November 2026 and runs until the end of 2027 with an option for extension.

Responsibilities

You will act as an independent specialist consultant and be responsible for functional process consulting in the area of SAP finance, taking into account specific customer requirements. Your responsibilities include customizing in the SAP FI module, supporting and analyzing relevant system interfaces, and independently managing work packages. You will proactively collaborate with stakeholders and contribute to the optimization of financial processes.

Requirements

You have extensive expertise in SAP S/4HANA and have independently accompanied at least two complex, multi-year transformation projects (on-premise) with an agile approach as a Professional Advisor. You possess a deep understanding of processes in the FI area and excellent customizing know-how, including interface integration.

You are proficient in best practices, understand process interdependencies, and can independently develop solution alternatives and recommendations. Special knowledge in the following areas is required: Document Split, Cash Management, Bank Accounting, interplay of FQM Flow/Bank Subledger/General Ledger and Reporting, as well as Closing Cockpit (Advanced and Classic) and Financial Supply Chain Management.

Fluent German and English skills are necessary. We are looking for an independently working expert who can optimize complex financial processes and has proven experience in agile project environments.
