For building the candidate pool in preparation for upcoming projects, we are seeking experienced experts in SAP FI consulting with a focus on S/4HANA.

Currently, there is no immediate pressure to fill positions. The goal is rather to avoid having to make short-term decisions.

Candidates who have primarily built their technical expertise in S/4HANA environments and are familiar with modern SAP finance processes from practical experience are particularly interesting.

SAP Senior Consultant Finance (FI)

Focus Discrete Manufacturing Industries

Responsibilities

• Analysis, modeling, and conception of processes for manufacturing industry clients in the area of Financial Accounting (S/4HANA Line of Business Finance)
• Design of end-to-end scenarios with a focus on Finance Capabilities
• Conducting and moderating fit-gap analysis workshops
• Analysis of the client's situation and creation of process documentation, functional concepts, and blueprints
• Responsibility for the system-side implementation of client requirements (customizing, coordination of add-ons, user exits, reports, interfaces, etc.)
• Analysis of SAP best practices and development of optimization and innovation potentials
• Identification of improvement opportunities along the value chain and support in the implementation of SAP solutions
• Management of finance project teams as a sub-project manager on the client and service provider side
• Presentation and coordination of solution concepts with relevant stakeholders
• Identification and utilization of innovative potentials of the SAP S/4HANA solution, considering current market trends
• Technical consulting and support for project team members

• Experience in internal and external accounting (HGB, IFRS)
• Profound knowledge of the SAP FI module
• Experience in integration with adjacent SAP modules, especially MM and SD
• Experience with project methodologies (Agile, Hybrid-Agile, or Waterfall)
• Experience in conducting complete SAP project cycles
• Ideally, experience in SAP S/4HANA projects
• Knowledge of the discrete manufacturing industry is an advantage
• Experience in international project and delivery environments
• Ability to collaborate in virtual teams
• Intercultural understanding
• Willingness to travel according to project requirements
• Very good communication skills in German and English
