SAP S/4HANA Master Data & Migration Lead

Project overview

Project languages German and English.

A manufacturing company is transitioning from SAP R/3 to SAP S/4HANA, based on an established global template. We are looking for an experienced lead for the local master data migration. The goal is the local implementation of the given template, not the conception of a custom solution.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all local master data activities across purchasing, production, logistics, sales, and billing
• Data preparation, cleansing, mapping, migration, and validation
• Migration of material, customer, and vendor/business partner master data
• Readiness for trial migrations, test cycles, and the final cutover
• Management of risks, dependencies, data quality issues, and decisions; close coordination with business departments and the central migration team
• Knowledge transfer and handover to the internal team

Requirements

Framework: Start from immediate effect, 14 months+, 100%, hybrid with approx. 40 to 50% on-site in Mattersburg, rest remote. Freelance.

• Lead master data migration in at least one SAP S/4HANA implementation (ECC or R/3 to S/4HANA)
• Experience in global template or rollout environments
• Profound knowledge of material master data as well as customer and vendor business partner data
• Experience in the manufacturing industry or another product-based environment
• Fluent German and English
• Approx. 2 days per week on-site in Mattersburg (Burgenland)
