Project overview

Area of Application: SAP S/4HANA | Sales, Procurement, and Process Optimization

For a demanding SAP S/4HANA project, we are looking for an experienced SAP SD/MM Consultant (m/f/d) to support ongoing operations as well as project-related tasks.

The focus is on the support and optimization of existing SAP processes in the areas of sales and materials management, as well as the further development of integrated end-to-end processes. Furthermore, you will support the analysis and implementation of interfaces, the optimization of existing system settings, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

Analysis and resolution of errors, as well as support in ongoing SAP operations

Analysis, optimization, and further development of sales, procurement, and purchasing processes

Customizing and support of SAP modules SD and MM in an S/4HANA environment

Design and optimization of seamless end-to-end processes

Functional design and implementation of settlement processes based on condition contracts

Analysis, design, and further development of system interfaces

Investigation of file-based integrations as well as API and CPI interfaces

Identification and cleanup of redundant, inconsistent, or no longer needed system settings

Execution and documentation of unit, integration, and user acceptance tests (UAT)

Functional coordination with IT, business departments, and other project stakeholders

Creation of technical and functional documentation, as well as support for knowledge transfer

Requirements

Functional Requirements

Several years of practical experience as an SAP SD/MM Consultant, ideally at Senior Consultant level

Very good knowledge of SAP SD and SAP MM

Sound experience with SAP S/4HANA

Experience with Fit-to-Standard approaches

Knowledge of condition contracts and settlement processes

Good knowledge of pricing and delivery schedules

Understanding of integrated end-to-end business processes in sales and procurement

Technical Requirements

Very good customizing knowledge in SAP SD and MM under S/4HANA

Experience in the analysis and support of interfaces

Knowledge of file-based integrations, APIs, and SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI)

Basic knowledge of debugging

Experience in test execution, error analysis, and technical documentation

Personal Requirements

Native-level German language skills

Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working

Strong analytical skills

Good communication and coordination skills

Confident demeanor towards IT, business departments, and external project stakeholders
