SAP SD/PS Consulting & Customizing – Intercompany Billing (RRICB) & Go-Live Support

Project overview

Initial Situation:

A company in the industrial sensor sector uses SAP SD and SAP PS and is in a project with a go-live in January 2027. An internal SD/PS specialist is leaving the company at the end of December 2026, creating a capacity and knowledge gap precisely during the critical go-live phase. An external consultant is therefore to be trained from early to mid-December 2026 as part of a knowledge transfer, accompany the go-live, and subsequently be available as a contact person for support issues.

After the go-live, topics that were deliberately removed from the project scope also need to be implemented: the expansion of existing intercompany project billing (RRICB) to cross-border scenarios and the mapping of cross-border subcontracting, including value determination. SAP EPPM will also become relevant during 2027.

Responsibilities

Framework Data:

Start Date: Early December 2026

• Knowledge transfer (early to mid-December 2026, 2 PT): Training by the departing colleague on existing SD/PS processes and current customizing
• Taking over open topics and project status with a view to the go-live
• Go-live support (from January 2027, 2 PT/week in Q1, possibly Q2): Accompanying the go-live in the SD/PS environment
• Analysis and resolution of errors and problems after go-live
• Contact person for business departments for questions regarding SD/PS
• RRICB: Expansion of existing project billing between company units to cross-border scenarios, e.g., for billing engineering costs to the product
• Cross-border subcontracting: Conception and implementation of value determination for the device, including subcontracting costs
• Consideration of integration into financial accounting (FI)

Utilization: December 2026 one-time 2 PT for knowledge transfer. From January 2027 approx. 2 PT per week until the end of March 2027. Total approx. 28 PT. With optional extension until June 2027, an additional approx. 26 PT.
