90% Remote | SAP Transportation Management | Long-term Project | Baden-Württemberg

For an exciting SAP TM project at a company in Baden-Württemberg, we are looking for an experienced SAP TM Consultant with technical understanding and experience in creating development specifications.

The project offers a high remote share of 90%, a planned duration of six months, and the opportunity to actively shape demanding SAP TM processes.

Responsibilities

Analysis of existing SAP TM processes and description of desired system behavior

Creation of functional-technical development specifications for ABAP developers

Conception of SAP customizations, especially via User Exits and BADIs

Reading and understanding ABAP code to evaluate technical contexts

Coordination with business departments, SAP consultants, and development teams

Documentation of requirements and concepts in Confluence

Operational project coordination with Jira

Requirements

At least 5 years of relevant SAP professional experience

In-depth knowledge of SAP TM (Transportation Management)

Experience in creating development specifications

Technical understanding of User Exits, BADIs, and ABAP

Ability to read and classify existing ABAP coding

Very good German language skills

Nice-to-have: Experience in partial project management as well as knowledge of Jira and Confluence.

Independent ABAP development is explicitly not required. The crucial factor is that you can understand requirements and specify them in such a way that developers can implement them directly.

Opportunity for professional training and accompanying coaching

On-site planning: Individual bundled on-site appointments are planned for the initial conception phase. In the further course of the project, approximately 1-2 travel days per month are planned for joint coordination. The exact distribution will be agreed upon in the project.
