• Working hours: 32–40 hours
• Location: Munich
• Independent management and monitoring of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes in compliance with all deadlines and ensuring correct financial reporting
• Preparation and booking of complex general ledger entries, including provisions, deferred income, prepayments, and intercompany transactions
• Execution and review of significant balance sheet account reconciliations, as well as independent analysis and clarification of discrepancies
• Responsibility for group-internal accounting, including transfer pricing adjustments, loan agreements, and reconciliations in various currencies
• Participation in the preparation of consolidated annual financial statements and regulatory reports according to local accounting standards and IFRS, as well as coordination of the annual external audit
• Continuous optimization of general ledger processes, chart of accounts, and financial systems, as well as ensuring compliance with internal control systems, SOX requirements, and group-wide financial policies
• Successfully completed qualification in accounting, such as ACCA, ACA, or a comparable qualification, as well as at least 5–7 years of relevant professional experience after graduation
• Sound experience in general ledger accounting for complex corporate structures with multiple companies, as well as independent management of all closing processes
• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting according to local standards and IFRS, as well as the legal requirements for financial reporting
• Confident use of ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, or Workday, as well as advanced Excel skills and experience in financial modeling
• Experience with ERP systems, process automation, and optimization of financial processes, as well as sound knowledge in intercompany and foreign currency accounting would be a plus
