Senior AI Engineer / Senior Fullstack Developer

Project overview

For an end client in the manufacturing sector, we are looking for an experienced Senior AI Engineer / Senior Fullstack Developer (m/f/d) to implement strategic digitalization and automation initiatives.

The focus is on developing modern software solutions, introducing AI-powered applications, and digitalizing and optimizing production and business processes. You will work on innovative solutions in the areas of Industry 4.0, Smart Factory, and Artificial Intelligence.

Responsibilities

Must-Haves

• Development and further development of fullstack applications in the industrial environment
• Conception and implementation of AI and LLM-based applications
• Development of APIs and microservices for integrating various systems
• Digitalization and automation of manual business and production processes
• Connection of ERP, MES, IoT, and production systems
• Development of scalable cloud solutions
• Collaboration with business departments, production, and IT
• Technical consulting on architecture and technology decisions
• Ensuring software quality, performance, and maintainability
• At least 5 years of professional experience in software development
• Experience as a Senior Fullstack Developer or AI Engineer
• Project experience in the manufacturing, Industry 4.0, or automation environment
• Very good knowledge of Python and modern backend frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, .NET)
• Experience with React and modern web applications
• Experience in developing AI/LLM applications (Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, LangChain, RAG)
• Experience with Azure or AWS and containerized environments (Docker)
