Senior AI Transformation & Implementation Consultant

Project overview

For a technology-oriented corporate environment, we are looking for an experienced AI Transformation & Implementation Consultant to actively shape the strategic development and practical implementation of Artificial Intelligence.

The focus is on identifying meaningful AI use cases, developing an actionable AI roadmap, and integrating modern AI technologies into existing business and development processes.

We are explicitly looking for a technically savvy AI expert with a software development background, not just a pure strategy consultant, who develops their own solutions and prototypes and accompanies their productive use.

Responsibilities

• Development and further development of a practice-oriented AI strategy and roadmap
• Evaluation of current AI technologies, LLMs, agent systems, frameworks, and providers regarding benefits, maturity, and risks
• Identification, prioritization, and implementation of economically sensible AI use cases
• Evaluation, piloting, and introduction of AI tools, especially coding assistants, AI agents, and automation solutions
• Independent development of prototypes and proof-of-concepts as well as close collaboration with technical teams
• Optimization of existing development, support, and business processes through AI
• Co-design of AI governance as well as data protection and security concepts
• Support for rollouts, training, and change processes for the sustainable introduction of new technologies
• Measurement and evaluation of results based on productivity, time savings, and quality
• Support in the conception and implementation of AI-based solutions and selected projects

Requirements

The combination of strategic understanding and technical hands-on competence is crucial. We are looking for a consultant who not only conceptually evaluates AI but also independently develops solutions and integrates them into existing processes.

• Profound practical experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI Agents, and AI automation
• Demonstrable background in software development, ideally as a Developer, Tech Lead, or Software Architect
• Practical experience with AI-supported development tools, model APIs, and the creation of own prototypes
• Ability to strategically, technically, and economically evaluate AI use cases
• Experience in introducing new technologies, tools, or working methods in companies
• Understanding of data protection, information security, and responsible AI use
• Experience in project coordination, stakeholder management, and communicating complex technical contexts
• Independent, pragmatic, and strongly implementation-oriented way of working
• Development of a coordinated and implementable AI roadmap
• Successful introduction and productive use of AI agents and automation solutions
• Measurable efficiency and quality improvements in existing processes
• Sustainable integration of AI tools and enablement of the involved teams
• Conception and implementation of selected AI-based solutions
