Senior Application Developer Spatial Information Systems & BI Reporting

Project overview

For an established company in the Swiss transport and infrastructure sector, we are looking for an experienced Senior Application Developer to strengthen an agile development team.

Responsibilities

You will actively participate in the modernization and further development of Spatial Information Systems (RIS) and support the setup and long-term management of BI reporting. In parallel, you will be responsible for the operation, substance maintenance, and process optimization of existing applications. You will work in a Scrum team within a SAFe context and cooperate closely with other teams of the Agile Release Train. You will also support the asset project planning for safety systems from a development and architecture perspective.

Requirements

You have at least 5 years of professional experience with Java and Spring Boot, as well as several years of experience with container technologies (OpenShift, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins). Knowledge of .NET and Angular is essential, as the system landscape is mixed. You have practical experience with relational databases, SQL, and Oracle Database. Very good knowledge of Git, PowerShell, Bash, IntelliJ, and Keycloak complete your profile. In the BI area, you have in-depth experience with Power BI – especially with DataFlow, semantic models, Dedicated Gateways, and report creation.

Practical SAFe experience and a strong ability for structured, organized work are required. Fluent German language skills are necessary.
