Senior Consultant Procurement Strategy / Strategic Procurement & Category Strategy

Responsibilities

• Analysis and further development of existing procurement and category strategies in the areas of civil engineering for substations as well as medium/low voltage
• Development of strategic fields of action based on existing procurement and tendering structures
• Contribution of external market and industry experience as a sparring partner
• Development and evaluation of suitable procurement, tendering, and contract models such as framework agreements, project business, and hybrid models
• Development of recommendations for lot and bundling strategies
• Evaluation of regional and supra-regional tendering models and possible multi-lot scenarios
• Analysis of bundling and regionalization options based on market structure, competition, purchasing power, and capacity impact
• Development of recommendations for segmentation and further development of the supplier landscape
• Definition of suitable supplier roles
• Evaluation of strategic approaches for long-term capacity assurance and supply capability
• Analysis of capacity reservation models, supplier development approaches, and early tendering strategies
• Development of strategic approaches to improve cost-effectiveness in procurement
• Derivation of commercial control models
• Structured preparation of recommendations and decision-making bases for the strategic management of procurement markets

Requirements

• Experience in strategic procurement and supply consulting
• Experience in the development or further development of category and procurement strategies
• Good knowledge of tendering, bundling, lot, and contract models
• Experience in supplier strategy, supplier segmentation, and competitive analysis
• Experience in capacity and supply assurance strategies
• Experience in developing economically and commercially sound control approaches
• Strong analytical and conceptual working style
• Confident demeanor and consulting competence at management level
