Senior Business Analyst – Requirements Engineering / Business Analysis / Insurance Environment / Zurich / 80-100%

Project: For our client in the insurance sector, we are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support the analysis, optimization, and further development of business processes and digital solutions. In this role, you will work closely with business departments, Product Owners, Enterprise Architects, and Solution Designers, taking on the central interface function between business and IT. The engagement is for 80-100% for 12 months in Zurich.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibility (MUST)

• Analysis and optimization of business processes in close cooperation with the business departments
• Collection, modeling, and documentation of business and system requirements
• Support for Product Owners in identifying, prioritizing & managing requirements
• Coordination and moderation of workshops & meetings with various stakeholders
• Close collaboration with business departments, Enterprise Architects, and Solution Designers

• Solid education in Business Administration, Business Informatics, or comparable
• Several years of professional experience (3-5 years) as a Business Analyst in a comparable environment
• Experience in the insurance or financial sector is an advantage
• Very good knowledge in the analysis, modeling, and documentation of requirements
• Excellent communication and moderation skills in dealing with various stakeholders
• Very good MS Office skills and high IT affinity
• Independent, proactive, and solution-oriented way of working
• German: C1
• English: C1
