Project overview

For our client, a renowned financial institution in Vienna, we are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst for a long-term Greenfield project in Customer Master Data Management. The agile delivery team is developing new solutions for customer onboarding, customer lifecycle management, and master data management. It works with API-driven architectures and cloud technologies.

The focus of the role is on the practical application of AI. You will use AI daily in all BA activities and bring in-depth hands-on experience with Claude and Claude Code across the entire lifecycle, from requirements to implementation to testing.

• Analysis of complex business requirements in the Customer Domain (Onboarding, Lifecycle, Master Data Management)
• Support for the Product Owner with epics, user stories, backlog structuring, prioritization, and decision preparation
• Translation of business requirements into testable requirements, acceptance criteria, process flows, and API specifications
• Contribution to API definition and service design (Swagger/OpenAPI)
• Daily AI-supported use in all BA activities: creating and refining requirements, identifying gaps and inconsistencies, generating test scenarios, structuring stakeholder input, improving documentation
• Development and advancement of AI-SDLC practices: prompt patterns, Claude skills, structured requirement templates, AI-supported backlog refinements
• Preparation and support of User Acceptance Tests, definition of expected results, and documentation of test results
• Close collaboration with Product Owners, architects, developers, testers, UX, and data experts
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Requirements Engineer, or in a comparable role (Senior Level)
• Daily, practical use of AI in business analysis, not just interest in it
• In-depth hands-on knowledge of Claude and Claude Code, applied across the entire BA cycle from requirements to implementation to testing
• Very good practical understanding of AI workflows: harnessing, skills, human-in-the-loop, as well as critical validation of AI results (e.g., recognizing hallucinations)
• Understanding of how APIs work (REST, Request/Response, data models)
• Experience with Swagger/OpenAPI and Postman
• Very good knowledge in Requirements Engineering: elicitation, documentation, validation, prioritization, traceability
• Experience in an agile environment (Scrum, Jira, Confluence)
• Fluent English (C1)
• Industry experience in Finance, Banking, or Insurance
• Experience with Customer Master Data Management, Customer Onboarding, or Customer Lifecycle
• Knowledge of BPMN or process modeling and Miro
• Understanding of data protection, information security, and Responsible AI principles
• German language skills
