Senior Business Analyst

Project overview

For one of our clients in the public sector, we are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with sound experience in requirements management for complex business applications and agile product environments.

Activities:

• Analysis, structuring, and consolidation of business requirements from various stakeholders
• Collection, modeling, and documentation of business processes, functional requirements, and specifications
• Translation of requirements into epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Participation in the prioritization and maintenance of product backlogs
• Preparation and execution of refinements, workshops, and functional coordination meetings
• Creation of project-relevant documentation, user manuals, and functional concepts
• Planning, support, and execution of functional tests, system tests, and user acceptance tests
• Support of business departments in analysis, error assessment, and functional questions in a complex system environment

• At least 4 years of experience in Business Analysis in complex IT projects
• Experience in Requirements Engineering as well as in the creation of functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Experience in agile project environments and knowledge of HERMES and/or SAFe
• Tertiary degree (university, university of applied sciences, or higher vocational school) or comparable education
• Valid CPRE Foundation certification or equivalent
• Project management certifications such as HERMES or similar
• Very good German skills (at least C1 or native speaker)
• Good French skills (at least B1)
• Experience in complex system landscapes with numerous interfaces
• Experience in the public sector or in large organizational structures
• Experience in collaborating with architecture, development, testing, and operations teams
• Experience in Product Owner-related roles and agile requirements management
