Senior Data Analyst / BI Specialist Banking

Project overview

For a demanding transformation project in the Swiss banking environment, we are looking for an experienced Stream Lead with in-depth experience in marketing, multichannel sales, and CRM transformations. We are seeking a personality with a proven track record in leading complex projects and transformation programs, as well as the ability to successfully bring together business and IT stakeholders.

Remote work from abroad is not possible.

Responsibilities

• Creation and maintenance of complex SQL queries in the banking DWH for customer selections, marketing campaigns, and lead generation
• Development and enhancement of Qlik Sense Apps and Dashboards, including Load Scripts and data modeling
• Analysis of campaigns regarding response and click rates across different target groups and channels
• Derivation of concrete business insights from campaign, customer, and usage data
• Processing and analysis of customer experience and survey data, including text and sentiment analyses
• Integration of relevant data into the DWH as well as creation and enhancement of KPI reporting
• Coordination of key figures and data requirements with the business departments
• Identification of data quality problems in the source systems and development of pragmatic solution approaches
• Creation of management-ready dashboards and analyses
• Parallel management and prioritization of change requests from various business owners
• Structured documentation and tracking of changes

Requirements

Soft Skills

• At least 5 to 6 years of professional experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Data Warehousing
• Very good SQL skills and in-depth experience with Data Warehouses
• Very good knowledge of Qlik Sense, especially Load Scripts, data modeling, Apps, and Dashboards
• Experience with campaign analyses, customer selections, and lead generation
• Experience with customer experience, survey, and KPI data
• Knowledge of text and sentiment analysis, ideally with Caplena or comparable tools
• Experience in analyzing and improving data quality
• Ability to prepare complex data and results in an audience-appropriate manner for business departments and management
• Very good German language skills in a business environment
• Experience with dbt and Databricks is an advantage
• Knowledge of Swiss Retail Banking is an advantage, especially in the areas of Pillar 3a/pensions, financial planning, asset management mandates, and fee models
• Experience with Confluence and Jira is an advantage
