Project Background

To expand our expert network in the field of Cybersecurity and Defense, we are looking for experienced freelance Security Consultants (m/f/d) with demonstrable experience in security-critical IT environments.

Experts who have already accompanied projects in the defense sector, with public clients, or in the security and defense industry are of particular interest.

Responsibilities

Consulting on information security and cybersecurity in security-critical IT environments

Creation and further development of technical and organizational security concepts

Analysis and evaluation of security risks and threat scenarios

Support in the implementation of security requirements in the defense environment

Consulting on security architectures and protective measures

Conducting security assessments and gap analyses

Support with security documentation and audit preparations

Coordination with IT Security, Information Security Officers, and project managers

Requirements

Several years of experience in IT security consulting or cybersecurity

Demonstrable project experience in the defense environment or with security-critical public clients

Sound knowledge of ISO 27001 and/or BSI IT-Grundschutz

Experience with IT security concepts and risk management

Knowledge of handling increased confidentiality and security requirements

Very good German language skills

Desirable

Project experience in the environment of the Bundeswehr, BWI, BAAINBw, or defense companies

Experience with VS-NfD and relevant security clearance requirements

Existing security clearance (Ü2/Ü3), if required for the respective deployment

Knowledge of relevant NATO security requirements

Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer
