Senior DevOps Engineer

Project overview

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer (all genders) with experience in the Azure environment for our client in the public sector.

Areas of Responsibility:

• Management and coordination of tickets (e.g., Azure DevOps)
• Documentation of processes and technical issues in Confluence
• Incident handling and troubleshooting
• Administrative tasks (e.g., renewing certificates, reporting..),
• Researching Azure topics and developing solutions
• Coordination and implementation of solutions
• DBX Administration (assigning rights, etc.).

Requirements

· Cloud Infrastructure & Architecture (Azure Services, Networks, Storage, Compute)

· Automation & Scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python advantageous)

· Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM Templates)

· CI/CD Tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, YAML Pipelines)

• Several years of experience in the Azure environment, e.g., as a DevOps Engineer
• Very good knowledge in the following areas:
• Monitoring & Observability (Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, KQL)
• Experience in agile working environments (Scrum/Kanban)
• Structured and solution-oriented approach
• High communication skills in the technical environment

• Experience with Containers & Kubernetes (AKS)
• Experience with Data Platform / Integration Services
• Desired start date: asap
• Duration: long-term
• Utilization: 50% (later possibility of 100%)
• Remote/On-site share: 1 day/week on-site (Vienna)
