Senior DevOps Engineer – GenAI Voice Solutions

Project overview

For our client, a renowned bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced personality as a Senior DevOps Engineer. In this exciting role, you will shape the architecture and integration of modern voice capabilities within a GenAI platform and work on innovative AI solutions in the banking environment. You will play a key role in developing scalable integration architectures and work closely with business departments, architecture, and DevOps teams.

Remote work from abroad is not possible.

Responsibilities

• Conception and implementation of solution architectures for the integration of the Genesys telephony system with the GenAI platform
• Development and integration of voice capabilities, including data ingestion, model training, and provision of APIs and endpoints
• Development of technical standards and architecture blueprints, taking into account company-wide and regulatory requirements
• Ensuring the seamless integration of applications, platforms, and databases (e.g., Amazon RDS, Microsoft SQL Server)
• Consulting business departments and translating business requirements into technical solution architectures
• Analysis and evaluation of new technologies, frameworks, and tools in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
• Participation in the integration of modern AI solutions into existing cloud and on-premises system landscapes
• Close collaboration with Business Engineering, Solution Architecture, IT Security, and other technical stakeholders

Requirements

Soft Skills

• Several years of professional experience (Senior Level, approx. 5-8 years) as a DevOps Engineer, Solution Engineer, or in a comparable role
• Sound experience in system design and modern integration architectures (microservices, event-driven architectures, and APIs)
• Very good knowledge of integrating Genesys, AWS, Azure, and on-premises systems
• Experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS, ideally complemented by Azure knowledge
• Good knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration
• Experience with AI-powered voice and audio processing, especially Speech-to-Text (ASR/STT) and Text-to-Speech (TTS)
• Experience in integrating AI solutions into Azure cloud or legacy system landscapes
• Very good German skills (C2) and very good English skills (C1)
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• High communication and consulting competence
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
• Enjoyment of collaboration in interdisciplinary and virtual DevOps teams
• High initiative and willingness to innovate
• Ability to communicate complex technical issues understandably
