Seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for challenging railway vehicle projects, focusing on electrical engineering tasks including schematic creation, documentation, and component selection.
Responsibilities
Profile
- Participation in demanding railway vehicle projects in the field of Electrical Engineering
- Creation and testing of wiring diagrams using modern CAE systems
- Creation and testing of technical documentation, specifications, and concepts
- Selection and specification of electrical components
- Conducting vehicle inspections and technical inventory assessments
- Support of individual systems during modification and integration measures
- Close cooperation with customers, project teams, and other departments
- Ensuring compliance with relevant railway technical standards and guidelines
- Support with system integration and electrical retrofit projects
- Successfully completed technical degree or comparable qualification
- Experience in the field of railway vehicle technology
- Knowledge of relevant railway standards such as DIN EN 50126, DIN EN 50155, and DIN EN 50343
- Basic knowledge of EMC and fire protection for railway vehicles
- Experience with CAE systems such as E³.series and/or EPLAN
- Practical experience in the electrical design of railway vehicles
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Very good German and English language skills
