Seeking a Senior Developer with expertise in connection technologies to evaluate, develop, and document solutions for high-speed, optical, and RF connections. The role involves interdisciplinary collaboration and requires a strong technical background in electronics or related fields.
Project overview
Evaluation of Technical Solutions: You will draw on your experience in the development of connectors, cables, fiber optic, and high-speed connections to evaluate technical solutions regarding signal integrity, power integrity, EMC, robustness, and suitability for series production.
Development & Design: You will independently handle development and design tasks, coordinate requirements with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and external development partners, and accompany solutions from specification to qualification.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration: You will support interdisciplinary teams with your technical judgment, your experience in troubleshooting and verification, and your keen eye for risks, interactions, and feasibility.
Documentation & Validation: You will create and review technical documentation, specifications, test reports, and acceptance criteria, thus contributing to the reliable validation of new connection technologies.
Education: Successfully completed university degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Optoelectronics, Physics, or a comparable field.
Professional Experience: Extensive professional experience in the development of connection technologies, ideally in demanding industrial, research, or high-tech environments.
Expertise: Profound knowledge in the areas of high-speed connections, optical data transmission, fiber optics, RF connections, connector and cable design, and their integration into complex electronic systems.
Practical Experience: Experience in the technical evaluation, verification, qualification, and troubleshooting of electronic or optoelectronic systems (including environmental, reliability, and stress tests).
Interface Competence: Confident interaction with suppliers, development partners, and internal stakeholders, as well as experience in specification, interface, and acceptance management.
Communication Skills: Strong ability to clearly justify technical decisions, share knowledge, and communicate complex issues in a target-group-oriented manner.
Language Skills: Fluent German and very good English skills, both written and spoken.
