Senior Integration Engineer

Project overview

For our client, a consulting firm specializing in the banking sector and based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced Senior Integration Engineer to support a challenging project at a Swiss bank.

Please note that due to current Swiss legislation, we can only consider applications from Swiss citizens, EU citizens, and individuals with a valid work permit.

Remote work from abroad is not possible.

Responsibilities

• Transformation of a current prototype for monitoring PowerCenter and Oracle workloads into a robust, scalable, and production-ready solution
• Ensuring high IT security standards and implementing reliable error detection and handling
• Integration of existing tools into the bank's authentication infrastructure (Microsoft Entra ID)
• Implementation of further integrations in the areas of JIRA, Git, and repository management

Requirements

Soft Skills

• At least 10 years of professional experience in relevant IT environments, ideally in the banking or financial services sector
• Profound knowledge of Linux, IT security, and system integration
• Good practical experience with Shell scripting and Python
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID and authentication and authorization concepts
• Understanding of the high security, compliance, and quality requirements in the Swiss banking environment
• Knowledge of JIRA, Git, and repository infrastructures
• Knowledge of Go is an advantage
• Good German and English language skills
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
• High awareness of quality and security
• Ability to analyze complex technical challenges and develop sustainable solutions
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a demanding project environment
• High sense of responsibility and reliability in implementing security-critical integrations
