• Participation in and creation of feasibility studies & project planning
• Independent design/development of components and assemblies (creation of 3D models and 2D drawings)
• Creation of decision proposals and development of system-relevant concept proposals
• Generation of parts lists and work instructions for production
• Support and contact person for developed components (support of interfaces Build Shop, Purchasing, QA, and Production)
• Creation of purchase requisitions via SAP during the development phase
• Creation and preparation of homologation documents
• Technical project responsibility
• Participation in Design FMEAs
• Support of technical project management for the implementation of project goals within the specialist area
• Interdisciplinary coordination within and outside the Powertrain area

• Successfully completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a comparable field
• Several years of professional experience (ideally 5 years +) in the development and design of powertrain, engine, or transmission components, ideally in the automotive or high-performance environment
• Sound knowledge in component and assembly development from the concept phase through feasibility analyses to technical implementation
• Confident use of CATIA V5 as well as knowledge of SAP ECTR and SAP-based development processes
• Experience in the technical management of technical projects and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
• Structured, analytical, and self-reliant way of working combined with high resilience and decisiveness
• Enthusiasm for innovative drive technologies as well as for series, racing, and high-performance vehicles
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
