Senior Linux Admin sought CPAT

Project overview

For one of our clients, we are looking for a Senior Linux Admin with experience with IAM platforms.

This is a freelance project that starts * and offers a duration of 12 months, with an option for extension.

Work is 2 days/week on-site in Vienna/Austria, 3 days remote office.

Responsibilities

• Planning, coordination, and implementation of the installation, configuration, operation, and monitoring of IT systems
• Management of the central IAM and Identity Provider infrastructure (IdP)
• Analysis and evaluation of internal and external data traffic, responsibility for secure connections
• Analysis of problems as well as isolation and resolution of errors
• Participation in the implementation of security measures and securing system operation against internal and external attacks
• Support of system services with network and system management systems

Requirements

Your hourly rate is negotiable depending on qualifications.

• Completed education in the IT field (University, FH, HTL)
• Good knowledge in the area of infrastructure and interest in acquiring further knowledge
• Profound Linux knowledge (RHEL7.x)
• Experience in the production of server applications including operational quality assurance
• Know-how in virtualization and automation techniques
• Experience with performance and error analysis
• Practice in evaluating log files (... grep, awk, sed ...)
• Professional experience with authentication and authorization systems (Kerberos, SAML, ADFS)
