Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer for the mechanical design and further development of innovative product systems. In this role, you will be part of an international team involved in the design of complex components and assemblies.

Your tasks include the creation and adaptation of 3D CAD models and technical drawings, conducting technical analyses to optimize functionality, manufacturability, and costs, as well as participating in design changes and release processes. You will support prototype development, conduct feasibility studies, and assist with validation activities. Close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams from development, quality, production, and regulatory areas is central to this position.

You have a completed technical degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or product development, and several years of practical experience in the mechanical design of complex components. Very good knowledge of Creo Parametric is required; experience with Windchill is an advantage. You have practical experience with various materials, manufacturing processes, and structural design. An analytical, solution-oriented approach, strong teamwork skills, and very good English skills for international collaboration complete your profile.

The workplace is located in Upper Austria and is designed as hybrid. You will work in an international environment on exciting development and improvement projects.
