Project overview

For one of our existing clients from the public cultural and event sector, we are looking for support from an experienced Senior MS 365 Administration & Security Expert (m/f/d) starting immediately. The company has introduced Microsoft 365 and now wants to transition the environment from the initial phase to a professional, secured, and scaled operational state. The goal of the project is the comprehensive configuration of the environment according to best practices as well as training the internal admin team.

• Start: Immediately
• Duration: Initially until the end of the year (extension dependent on project progress and budget)

• Configuration and optimization of the existing MS 365 environment for professional operational use
• Implementation of best practices in the areas of Microsoft Defender & Zero Trust and Microsoft Purview
• Setup of Access Packages, Entitlement Management, and Privileged Identity Management
• Setup and fine-tuning of Microsoft Intune with a focus on BYOD scenarios
• Creation and enforcement of WDAC policies (Windows Defender Application Control)
• Conducting structured workshops and training on the job to train local administrators
• Many years of experience as an MS 365 Cloud Architect / Senior Engineer in heterogeneous or publicly oriented corporate structures
• Advanced knowledge in Entra ID (Identity Governance, Access Packages, Conditional Access), Microsoft Intune (BYOD, Compliance Policies) Security & Compliance (Defender suite, Zero Trust Framework, WDAC, Purview)
• Strong combination of technical implementation strength and the ability to convey knowledge understandably to internal teams
