For an established Berlin-based end client, we are seeking an experienced Senior .NET / C++ Developer (m/f/d) on short notice to take over and sustainably manage a business-critical application landscape.

The product is at the end of its lifecycle. The focus is therefore less on greenfield development or new feature development, but rather on ensuring stable operation, knowledge transfer, maintenance of existing applications, and management of technical risks.

We are looking for an experienced developer with a strong background in .NET, C++, and legacy systems, who can quickly familiarize themselves with existing architectures and ensure the long-term stability of a productive system landscape.

• Analysis, takeover, and familiarization with existing .NET and C++ applications
• Ensuring the ongoing operation of a business-critical application
• Maintenance, error analysis, and resolution of technical problems in productive environments
• Analysis and optimization of existing codebases regarding stability and maintainability
• Handling incidents and performing root cause analyses
• Evaluation and documentation of technical and security-related risks
• Implementation of necessary adjustments within existing architectures
• Support of build, release, and deployment processes
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation
• Knowledge transfer and sustainable assurance of system support
• Close collaboration with IT operations, business departments, and stakeholders
• Several years of experience in development with C# and .NET Framework
• Very good knowledge of ASP.NET
• Good practical experience in C++
• Experience with legacy systems and established enterprise applications
• Experience in taking over and further developing existing codebases
• Good knowledge of MS SQL Server
• Experience in operating and supporting productive applications
• Profound knowledge in troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analyses
• Experience with high-availability systems and production-near environments
• Independent and structured way of working
• Very good German language skills
• Experience with SonarQube or comparable code analysis tools
• Knowledge in the area of Application Security and Vulnerability Management
• Experience with Nexus Repository Manager
• Knowledge of CI/CD environments
• Experience with Git
• DevOps know-how
• Experience in corporate or enterprise structures
