• Working hours: 32–40 hours
• Location: Berlin
• Technical support and monitoring of onshore cable installation work in both projects
• Development, testing, and evaluation of technical installation concepts as well as execution and laying methods
• Coordination of technical interfaces between cable manufacturers, civil engineering companies, and other project participants
• Coordination and clarification of technical issues in the areas of engineering, construction, installation, and scheduling
• Monitoring of project progress as well as identification and assessment of technical risks, deviations, and delays
• Review of installation procedures, especially regarding cable pulling, cable laying, and insertion of power cables into protective conduits
• Assessment of the quality and technical conformity of the work performed
• Review of technical documentation, specifications, execution documents, and method descriptions
• Analysis of schedule dependencies and interface risks, as well as development of suitable recommendations for action
• Creation of technical status reports, progress analyses, and decision proposals
• Support in ensuring compliance with technical standards, permit requirements, and contractual obligations
• Completed technical degree, for example in Mechanical Engineering, Offshore Engineering, Subsea Engineering, or a comparable field
• At least five years of demonstrable professional experience in the planning, technical support, or implementation of onshore high-voltage cable projects
• Demonstrable practical experience with the pulling of power cables into protective conduits (Cable Pulling)
• At least two years of professional experience in supporting Transmission System Operators (TSO) or comparable grid operators with onshore transmission or renewable energy projects
• Sound knowledge of high and extra-high voltage cable technology as well as cable civil engineering
• Experience in the technical coordination of complex EPC/EPCI projects and in interface management
• Knowledge of risk, schedule, cost, quality, and HSE management
• Experience in international project environments with multiple contractors
• Knowledge of German construction law as well as relevant permit and regulatory requirements
