Must-have requirements

• Setup and structuring of the Autodesk Vault storage landscape
• Creation and maintenance of pipe, fitting, and component libraries
• Definition and creation of piping classes
• 3D piping design with Autodesk Inventor Tube & Pipe
• Close coordination with Mechanical Engineers regarding equipment positioning
• Planning and design of pipe supports
• Creation of pipe isometrics and manufacturing documents
• Creation of parts lists
• Interpretation and implementation of P&ID documentation
• Participation in the setup of a new Inventor Tube & Pipe environment
• Several years of experience as a Senior Piping Engineer
• Very good knowledge of Autodesk Inventor Tube & Pipe
• Experience in setting up pipe classes, catalogs, and libraries
• Practical experience in 3D piping design in plant engineering
• Confident handling of P&IDs
• Experience with pipe isometrics and manufacturing drawings
• Technical education (HTL, FH, TU or comparable practical experience)

The Project

As Autodesk Inventor Tube & Pipe is being used productively for the first time by the client, a significant part of the task is to set up the necessary infrastructure such as catalogs, piping classes, and standards. This will be followed by the detailed 3D piping design of a compact plant package, including around 200 pipe isometrics.

• Experience in plant engineering for energy, process, or hydrogen plants
• Experience with Autodesk Vault
• Knowledge in the field of pressure piping
