Seeking a Senior PKI/OCSP System Architect for a 20-person-day project to design a robust, C-level-ready V1.0 architecture for OCSP/PKI, with a deadline of November 6, 2026.
Project overview
For our client in Berlin, we are looking for a Senior PKI / OCSP System Architect (m/f/d) starting immediately for an estimated duration of 20 person-days.
Goal:
By November 6, 2026, a technically sound and C-level-ready architecture V1.0 must be available for presentation to the client. OCSP/PKI architecture expertise and the ability to deliver a robust target image by November 6, 2026, are crucial.
Responsibilities
A Senior System Architect with profound PKI/OCSP expertise is sought on short notice to create a robust greenfield concept for the future OCSP architecture. Currently, there are 6 OCSP responders based on secunet for approximately 230 CAs. The target technology is fundamentally Nexus OCSP, provided there are no compelling technical, regulatory, or operational exclusion criteria. Primary operation is to take place in the client's own, BSI-oriented geo-redundant data centers on Kubernetes clusters; AWS and SysEleven are available as optional supplementary operating platforms.
Relevant gematik and ETSI requirements must be adhered to. Furthermore, a suitable migration path from secunet to Nexus must be developed. Work will be carried out in tandem with a gematik specialist from the team.
