Senior SAP ABAP Developer – SAP SD / O2C & Logistics

Project overview

For our client in Zurich, we are looking for a Senior SAP ABAP Developer – SAP SD / O2C & Logistics to support the Product & Supply Chain Applications Team.

In this position, you will take on development and support tasks in a complex, customer-specifically extended SAP landscape. The focus is on SAP development in the logistics environment, particularly SAP SD / Order-to-Cash (O2C) as well as customer-specific developments in the area of SAP Variant Configuration (LO-VC).

Responsibilities

• Development, further development, and support of SAP solutions in a complex, customer-specifically extended SAP landscape
• Analysis and optimization of existing custom SAP developments
• Technical implementation of new requirements in the SAP SD / Order-to-Cash (O2C) environment
• Development and adaptation of solutions in the SAP logistics environment
• Implementation of customer-specific developments in the area of SAP Variant Configuration (LO-VC)
• Development and maintenance of interfaces and forms, especially with IDoc, RFC, and Adobe Forms
• Independent analysis of business requirements and their translation into sustainable technical solutions
• Collaboration with business departments and other technical teams

• 8+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development
• Many years of development experience with SAP SD / Order-to-Cash (O2C)
• Sound experience in the SAP logistics environment
• 5+ years of experience with SAP ERP / S/4HANA and with ABAP OO
• Experience in manufacturing companies / Manufacturing
• Sound experience in the analysis, further development, and implementation of custom SAP developments
• Good knowledge of Adobe Forms, IDoc, and RFC
• Experience with CDS; knowledge of OData, ABAP RAP, and Fiori is an advantage
• Experience with SAP Variant Configuration (LO-VC) is an advantage
• Independent, solution-oriented, and structured way of working
• German fluent, English very good
