Senior SAP MM Expert

Project overview

For a client, we are looking for an experienced SAP MM expert (m/f/d).

The focus is on supporting Material Management (MM) with interfaces to Financial Accounting (FI). A particular focus is on master data in the context of the Invoice Workflow: The client uses the standard SAP workflow systems. Both the old and the new system are in place, and the old system is currently being gradually replaced by the new one. We are looking for a broadly skilled, conceptually thinking, and hands-on expert who knows this interplay from their own experience.

Responsibilities

• Support and further development of the SAP MM module
• Classification and maintenance of master data in the context of the Invoice Workflow
• Functional support for the ongoing replacement of the old SAP Invoice Workflow system with the new system
• Ensuring clean interaction between old and new systems during the transition phase
• Support at the MM to FI interface
• Collaboration with business departments
• Conceptual design and operational implementation in day-to-day business

• Sound experience as an SAP MM consultant/expert
• SAP S4/HANA experience
• Practical experience with the SAP Invoice Workflow System, ideally with knowledge of both the old and the new system (pan-European deployment an advantage)
• Conceptual strength combined with a hands-on mentality
• Broad functional expertise in the MM environment, not just a specialized topic
• Knowledge of the MM/FI interface is an advantage
• Very good German language skills
• Start: immediately
• Duration: initially 3+ months with an option to extend
• Utilization: at least 2 days/week, realistically 2-3 days/week
• Location: Remote, with an in-person introduction on-site
