Senior Software Engineer

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to strengthen our team at the Frankfurt location. In this role, you will develop and implement framework components, define schemas, interface contracts, and extension points. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining automated tests and documenting architectural decisions according to established standards.

Your tasks include the conception and further development of frameworks, registries, and reusable software components. You will develop methods for measuring and evaluating the quality of results of agent-based processes and create test cases and quality metrics for evaluating AI-supported processes. Furthermore, you will perform regression, integration, and repetition tests and integrate quality checks into CI/CD pipelines.

You will work closely with architecture, development, and product teams and develop interfaces to AI models and framework components.

For this position, you need a completed degree in computer science, mathematics, or a comparable qualification. You have very good TypeScript and good Python skills, as well as experience in API and data model design. Knowledge of GitLab CI/CD, Docker, and automated quality checks is required. Experience with architectural methods such as ADR and arc42, as well as a basic understanding of AI technologies, agent systems, and RAG, are advantageous. You should have experience with test automation, continuous integration/deployment, and Scrum. Very good German and good English skills are necessary.
