Project overview

For a long-term IT project in the public sector, we are looking for an experienced Senior Software Architect. The focus is on the conception and quality assurance of complex software architectures as well as the development of technical solution concepts for a central business application.

Responsibilities

• Conception and quality assurance of software architectures and solution concepts
• Implementation of business and technical requirements at the architecture level
• Design of services, functions, and interfaces
• Support with requirements specifications and effort estimations
• Coordination of architecture and solution concepts with adjacent systems and technical teams
• Conception of REST and event-based interfaces
• Derivation and evaluation of architecture changes from security, data protection, and penetration test requirements

• More than 8 years of relevant experience in software architecture and development
• Several years of experience in software architecture and software design in larger project environments
• Experience with service-oriented and cloud-native architectures
• Project experience with Java/Spring Boot or .NET Full Stack
• Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, REST, OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect, XML, JSON, and SAML
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Git/Bitbucket
• Knowledge of ArchiMate 3.x, UML, and BPMN 2.0
• Good knowledge of Domain Driven Design
• Knowledge of IT security and data protection
• TOGAF 9 as well as iSAQB CPSA Foundational/Advanced Level
• German language skills at least at C1 level
• Start: immediately

• Location: predominantly remote, with on-site appointments in Nuremberg if required
• Willingness for security screening SÜ2 required
