SiGeKo | Safety and Health Coordination | Infrastructure Project

Project overview

For a long-term infrastructure project in the field of energy network expansion, we are looking for an experienced Safety and Health Coordinator (SiGeKo) with in-depth knowledge of civil and infrastructure engineering.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring compliance with safety and health requirements according to BaustellV
• Conducting regular site inspections as well as documenting and following up on safety measures.
• Reviewing work safety, shoring, and traffic safety measures in civil engineering
• Assessing safety-critical situations in excavations, pipeline construction, and machinery use
• Coordination with site management, construction supervision, and executing companies
• Documenting and communicating safety-relevant deviations.

Requirements

• Technical training or studies in civil engineering or comparable qualification
• Qualification as SiGeKo according to RAB 30
• Qualification as a Safety Specialist (SiFa)
• At least 5 years of professional experience in the HSE sector, ideally in civil and infrastructure engineering
• In-depth knowledge in the areas of excavations, pipeline construction, and traffic safety
• Experience with SiGe plans, risk assessments, and relevant regulations
• Independent, structured way of working and strong teamwork skills
