Job description
Seeking a freelance SiGeKo (Safety Coordinator) for the Oberwald project, focusing on coordinating safety and health risks during construction, particularly in electrical installations.
Responsibilities
The goal of the service is to avoid safety and health risks by early identification and coordination of safety-relevant interactions between trades, as well as with operational activities and influences in the vicinity of the construction site. Furthermore, compliance with the general principles according to § 4 ArbSchG, the construction site regulations, and the SiGe plan is to be ensured and effectively monitored through regular inspections, meetings, and record-keeping.
The required documents (including SiGe plan, advance notification, and documentation for later work, etc.) will be kept up-to-date and made accessible in a traceable manner via a digital SiGe folder on the project SharePoint.
'In the execution planning, measures according to § 4 ArbSchG are coordinated, interactions are analyzed, preventive protective measures are identified, and advice is provided on construction site setup and scheduling. A Safety and Health Protection Plan (SiGe Plan) is developed, integrated into the planning process, and presented in planning meetings; advice is also provided on safety technical installations and the compilation of documentation for later work.
The customer's sample construction site regulations are adapted to the project, the advance notification is created, transmitted to the responsible authority, and updated in case of changes; before the start of construction, a project kick-off meeting is held with the contractors.
During construction execution, all contractors (including subcontractors and self-employed contractors) are informed about the measures, their interaction is organized, documents such as risk assessments/operating instructions are reviewed, and the proper use of work procedures is monitored through records; furthermore, efforts are made towards first aid & rescue services (e.g., rescue point plan), and the SiGe information board is set up and maintained. The SiGe Plan and advance notification are made known, adapted, posted, and updated; safety inspections are carried out (approx.
1x per week, depending on construction progress; if increased hazards exist, increased presence may be required in coordination with project management) including documentation, evaluation, determination of measures, and effectiveness control, as well as regular participation in construction/safety/project meetings (approx. every 2 weeks).
In case of deviations in execution, the documents (SiGe Plan, construction site regulations, documentation for later work, advance notification) are adapted, and a digital SiGe folder on the project SharePoint is updated; participation in formal work permits (e.g., hot work permits) also takes place. Reporting is done weekly in the form of minutes (promptly after the inspection); invoicing is done monthly including proof of performance.
