SimCorp Data Migration Specialist

Responsibilities

Profile

• Analysis of relevant data structures and data logic in the existing source systems
• Extraction and preparation of master, portfolio, position, and transaction data
• Transformation of source data into the required templates and target formats for SimCorp Dimension
• Creation, documentation, and maintenance of source-to-target mappings, conversion rules, and transformation logic
• Development and execution of an automated and repeatable ETL process as far as possible
• Technical preparation and support of various migration cycles, including test migrations, UAT, dress rehearsal, and go-live
• Execution of data quality checks regarding plausibility, completeness, and consistency
• Identification and cleanup of erroneous, missing, inconsistent, or duplicate data
• Support with reconciliation and error analysis between source and target data, especially for positions and transactions
• Experience in data migrations within complex system landscapes
• Very good knowledge of data extraction, data transformation, and ETL processes
• Experience with source-to-target mappings and transformation logic
• Experience in analyzing and ensuring data quality
• Knowledge of reconciliation and error analysis
• Experience working with master, portfolio, position, and transaction data
• Experience with SimCorp Dimension or investment management systems
• Structured and analytical way of working, as well as the ability to understand complex data relationships
