For a long-term project in the field of renewable energies, we are looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee and manage manufacturing and construction site activities in the context of offshore wind energy projects.

Your Responsibilities

• Start: Short notice / ASAP
• Duration: approx. 12 months with option for extension
• Location: Nordenham, Germany
• Workload: Full-time (approx. 50 hours per week)
• Work Model: On-site
• Contract Type: Freelance
• Representing the client on-site during the manufacturing of complex steel structures
• Coordinating interfaces between manufacturing, quality management, engineering, and other project stakeholders
• Monitoring quality, work safety, and schedule
• Tracking manufacturing progress and identifying risks and bottlenecks
• Organizing and leading regular progress and coordination meetings
• Assisting with acceptances, inspections, and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT)
• Documenting project progress and creating regular status reports
• Following up on deviations and assisting with their timely resolution
• Assisting with contract-related topics such as milestones, change orders, and performance statements

• Several years of experience as a Site Manager, Construction Manager, or Site Supervisor in an industrial environment
• Experience in offshore wind, steel construction, plant construction, or large-scale projects
• Sound understanding of quality management and HSE requirements
• Experience in coordinating various trades and stakeholders
• Confident demeanor towards contractors, manufacturers, and project teams
• Structured and solution-oriented approach to work
• Fluent English skills
• Experience with manufacturing supervision and quality acceptance
• Knowledge in the area of offshore structures, foundations, or heavy steel construction
• Experience in international project environments
• Long-term project in a future-oriented environment
• Responsible key position with significant scope for action
• Collaboration with international project teams
• Demanding technical environment in the field of renewable energies
