A growing software startup in the cloud management space from the Middle East is looking for an experienced Software Architect for the further development of its platform from an MVP to a production-ready, multi-tenant enterprise SaaS solution. We are looking for a person who will be responsible for architecture, security, and cloud best practices and will provide technical leadership to the development team.

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a Software Architect for enterprise or SaaS products, ideally with multi-tenancy capability
• In-depth cloud expertise, at least two of the platforms AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI
• Experience with data pipelines and processing large amounts of data (batch and near real-time)
• Profound knowledge in cloud security, identity management, and tenant isolation
• Experience in transforming an MVP into a production-ready system
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) and CI/CD

• Knowledge in the FinOps environment or experience with cloud cost data
• Experience with Kubernetes, microservices, and event-driven architectures
• Experience with observability and monitoring solutions

Remote/On-Site: Remote, with overlap to working hours in the region (approx. 3 hours)

• Evaluation of the existing prototype and derivation of a target architecture for a production-ready, multi-tenant SaaS platform (Result: Architecture documentation and decision logs)
• Design of the data pipeline from cloud connection, through the import of billing and telemetry data, to assignment and reporting (Result: Reference architecture and blueprints)
• Security and tenant isolation, including identity and access concepts (Result: Security concept and review checklist)
• Architectural decisions for operation across AWS, Azure, OCI, and GCP (Result: Multi-cloud abstraction layer and standards for connector development)
• Definition of the technology stack as well as Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD processes (Result: Tech stack decision and delivery pipeline)
• Technical leadership of the development team and definition of required skill profiles for extensions (Result: Coding guidelines and architecture reviews)
• Coordination with Product Management and UX on technical feasibility and scaling issues
