Project overview

Further development and adaptation of Windows-based inventory software for generic train control and tracking (developed in C).

Integration of the software into existing interlocking systems.

Implementation of customer-specific requirements and adaptations within customer projects.

Development in the area of train tracking: tracking trains based on the various states of an interlocking.

Connection and integration of smaller embedded displays, for example for displaying train numbers.

Work with existing software structures and further development of the existing system architecture.

Requirements

+ Completed degree in Computer Science, Signal Technology, Electrical Engineering, or comparable

+ Sound knowledge in the area of C/C++ software development

+ Experience with hardware-related or embedded systems

+ Experience in software testing (small intermediate tests should be carried out repeatedly)

+ Knowledge of development environments such as MS Visual Studio and version control systems such as Git and SVN

+ Experience with agile software development

+ Independent thinking and action -> Someone who can cope with non-optimal guidelines

+ Good German and English language skills
