- An experienced specialist for Zebra and label printers is sought for a short-term customer deployment. There are currently acute disruptions in warehouse operations that require quick analysis and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
Profile
- Analysis and resolution of problems with Zebra label printers
- Performing factory resets, configuration, and recommissioning of devices
- Error analysis in the area of printer languages (e.g., ZPL/EPL)
- Resolution of an error where the printer exclusively outputs raw text instead of labels
- Network and communication analysis for a printer that is not reachable or responsive despite a successful ping
- Checking printer configuration, interfaces, firmware, as well as network and DHCP settings
- Sound experience with Zebra printers and industrial label printing systems
- Good knowledge of Zebra printer languages (ZPL, EPL, ZBI, CPCL or similar)
- Experience in error analysis of network, communication, and configuration problems
- Ability for quick and pragmatic troubleshooting in production or warehouse-critical environments
