We are seeking an experienced Storage & Backup Solution Engineer to plan, administer, and further develop complex enterprise storage, SAN, and backup infrastructures. The role requires strong knowledge of various storage technologies, networking, server platforms, cloud storage concepts, and automation.

- Several years of experience in the planning, administration, and further development of complex enterprise storage, SAN, and backup infrastructures.
- Profound knowledge of market-standard storage, tape library, and data protection technologies, as well as highly available and scalable storage architectures.
- Experience with enterprise networks, SAN fabrics, network segmentation, and firewall management.
- Knowledge in the administration of Linux and Windows server platforms, as well as cluster and high availability solutions.
- Experience with cloud storage concepts, object storage, data replication, and hybrid disaster recovery architectures.
- Knowledge of modern storage technologies, including policy-based high availability, replication, and high-performance storage connections.
- Profound experience in automating storage and backup processes, especially with Ansible, as well as integrating REST API interfaces.
- Experience with process modeling, architecture management, change management, and agile working methods.
- Knowledge of requirements for data protection, information security, and secure IT operations, including access control, secure configuration, protection of credentials, and traceable documentation.
- Ability to document technical changes, test results, and security-relevant measures in a structured and audit-proof manner.
