Strategic IT Procurement Manager

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan, and execute complex procurement processes, especially EU tenders
• Consider public procurement law, legal requirements, internal guidelines, and regulations
• Ensure and further develop overarching category management strategies in the IT sector
• Advise internal customers and process participants on optimal procurement processes and define awarding strategies
• Act as the point of contact during the contract term, especially in case of contract disruptions
• Conduct long-term demand and awarding planning
• Identify and realize potential for savings, standardization, and optimization
• Minimize risks in the procurement process

• Completed university degree in business administration or a related field
• Professional experience in strategic IT procurement
• Good knowledge of the Sectoral Procurement Ordinance (SektVO) and the German Act Against Restraints of Competition (GWB)
• Process design skills and goal-oriented working style
• Analytical orientation as well as strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• Very good German and English language skills
