SW Monitoring / Compliance Engineer

Responsibilities

Profile

• Conducting a gap analysis of existing software handling
• Conception and implementation of a software control regime / monitoring system
• Establishing and ensuring compliance, particularly with regard to Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and RTCA DO-178
• Definition of necessary processes and tools
• Ensuring traceability of software issues and errors
• Support with software corrections
• Establishing a traceable link between hardware/serial number and deployed software or software revision
• Version management and configuration control
• Ensuring update and upgrade capability
• Avoiding obsolescence risks over the product lifecycle
• Ensuring high software quality and stable system performance
• Support with troubleshooting and escalations / firefighting activities
• Relevant, profound experience in the field of software monitoring and compliance
• Knowledge in C++, SAP R/3
• Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements, especially CRA and RTCA DO-178
• Experience in conducting gap analyses and process definitions
• Knowledge in version management, configuration control, and software quality management
• Ability to comprehensibly document complex interrelationships between hardware and software
• Technical understanding and ability to support software corrections
• Fluent English skills
