Job description
The client is seeking a System Engineer to manage and support their Windows Server infrastructure and services, including Microsoft 365 and Exchange. This role involves installation, patch management, and acting as a technical point of contact.

Responsibilities
Skills:
- Operation and support of the Windows Server infrastructure and services (3rd Level Supporter) Server lifecycle management
- Installation of new systems
- Patch management Updates and maintenance
- Administration and further development of: Microsoft 365, Exchange Enterprise Cluster, Backend systems
- Technical contact person for internal colleagues and colleagues in the IT department
- Very good experience in Microsoft enterprise environments with at least 200 to 400 (virtual) servers
- Very good Microsoft server know-how
- Very good knowledge of patch management
- Microsoft 365
- Exchange Enterprise / Exchange Cluster operation (On Prem solution)
- Infrastructure and backend understanding (e.g., backup with Veeam)
- Independent way of working
- Experience in complex IT environments
- Experience in security-critical environments
- Experience in BSI-related or regulated environments
- VMware knowledge
- Willingness to undergo security checks
