Technical Business Analyst Securities / Lending Business
Responsibilities
- Functional analysis, structuring, and coordination of banking-specific requirements in the securities environment
- Creation, maintenance, and quality assurance of mapping concepts
- Planning, execution, and documentation of functional tests
- Coordination of test results with the business department, IT development, and test management
- Analysis of production incidents, including functional-technical root cause analysis
- Data validation at the database level, DB2, and Kafka topics
- Identification of data quality problems and development of viable solution proposals
- Participation in the expansion of the data integration architecture and the data quality platform

- Three to five years as a Business Analyst in the data integration or data warehouse environment of the financial sector
- Profound knowledge of lending and loan business as well as practical experience with securities, mandatory
- Very good knowledge of relational databases, ideally IBM DB2
- Confident handling of SQL and experience in data validation
- Experience in planning, execution, and documentation of functional tests as well as in coordination with the business department and IT
- Knowledge of banking-specific systems such as OSPlus, LoanIQ, Murex, CMS, or Avaloq
- Exposure to Kafka Streams and reporting via Snowflake is an advantage, as is Jira, X-Ray, and ServiceNow
- German at C2 level with confident banking vocabulary

Our client is one of the largest IT service providers in the German banking sector and operates the central core banking platform for several hundred institutions. The central data integration architecture and the data quality platform are continuously being expanded and further developed there. Starting mid-November, you will be responsible for the functional analysis and quality assurance of data processing streams in the securities environment.
You will gather banking-specific requirements, create and maintain mapping concepts, plan and document functional tests, and coordinate the results with the business department, development, and test management. This also includes the analysis of production incidents, including data validation at the database level.
